Based on 'Comanche,' the wounded cavalry horse that survived the battle of the Little Big Horn.  Note the cavalry boot still hung in the stirrup, and the confused look on the horse's face, "What happened?"   After Custer's last stand, he was retired and never ridden again.  This painting can be had with an accompanying co-polymer bronze statue (size) for the combined price of $4,850.00.  It is my wish to sell both the painting and the accompanying bronze as a set to the same collector.  Artist:  Robert Learned Hand
