Late evening, just before sunset, just above Eagle River, Wisconsin, I happened upon a 'Lobo Wolf.'  The yellow eyes of a grey timberwolf were enough to inspire this painting, let alone the colors of the fading sun on the snow.  The wolf very quickly disappeared and I could only think, "And still free."  Artist:  Robert Learned Hand
